Beyoncé “Bday” Live From Tokyo (AOL Music LIVE! & DirecTV)

Pop music superstar, Beyoncé Knowles, celebrated the release of her new album, B’Day, with her fans around the world on AOL Music LIVE! in an exclusive, live broadcast from the Budokan in Tokyo, Japan on September 5, 2006. Jeff Ravitz collaborated with Japanese programmer and designer, Kenji Shibata, to light the mini-concert of six songs, including Beyoncé¹s number one single, Déjà vu. Other songs performed included Irreplaceable, Ring the Alarm, a Destiny’s Child medley and Crazy in Love. The show went on to a month long run on DirecTV.
